- MariaMontessori.com is a project from the Montessori Administrators Association (MAA) with a goal of providing accurate and relevant information about the Montessori method of education to parents around the world.
- MAA is a registered 501c3 non profit corporation comprised of Montessori administrators from across the United States. Its mission is to support the administration of Montessori schools by providing opportunities for renewal, networking, continuing education, and the exchange of ideas and experiences; to address the staffing needs of Montessori schools by supporting AMI Training Centers, Teacher Trainers and Trainers-in-training, as well as recruiting candidates for teacher-training; and to work in partnership with AMI and the AMI training centers to promote children’s issues and a greater understanding of the Montessori approach to education as an “aid to life.”
- MAA hosts an annual retreat in July and maintains an active Google discussion group for Montessori administrators.
